So I was hurrying as fast as possible to get this weeks blog written and sent before I went to work this morning....I sent it at 7:30 and walked out the door.  It did not go unnoticed that I left out a picture of one family on Thanksgiving...Hmmmm, sorry!  Here you go! Sorry, Frost family.

 

 I didn't mention that Brad and I are going to Dallas Thursday night, utilizing our vouchers that we were given following our flight back from California last year at Christmas.  I didn't realize that we had to "use them or lose them" before the end of the year, so I booked our weekend flight to go visit my cousin Stephanie. What is still undecided is what Gramma will do while we are gone.  Brad mentioned to her that she could go stay with Doug.  I said, "NO, you did not tell her that! and he said, "I told her that Doug could take a turn".  Now, here's what's wrong with that idea. 1.)Doug's pint sized apartment is 2 staircases up from the ground- no elevator.  2.) Even if she could manage the stairs, there is absolutely NO room inside as he has stuff stacked from floor to ceiling with a narrow passageway from the front door to the bedroom (perhaps you've seen those hoarding shows and if so, you know what I'm talking about), 3.) there is no furniture (sofa is covered and stacked with stuff), so no place for her to sit, much less sleep. 4.) It's too much for both of them.....
Anyway, I'm sure she'll be fine staying at our house alone with the hope that someone will check in on her occasionally.  We sure look forward to a few days away.....
